Every now and then we receive questions about how our subscriptions are priced. People ask about loyalty discounts, whether sale prices apply to existing members and why we don’t run renewal offers. These are all valid questions, so here’s a clear explanation of how our pricing works and why we’ve kept it so steady over the years.

Our Two Subscription Options

MJS TV offers two ways to join:

Monthly

£19.99 per month

Total over 12 months: £239.88

Yearly

£150 per year

Total yearly saving compared to monthly: £89.88

Put simply, the annual plan gives you almost £90 off the equivalent monthly cost. It’s a built-in loyalty saving that rewards anyone who wants to commit for the year.

A Price That Hasn’t Changed in Six Years

Although we don’t rule out adjusting our pricing in the future, we’ve kept both the monthly and yearly fees exactly the same for the last six years. During that time the platform has grown massively, with new lessons, new equipment, more refined production, and a much larger library than when we started.

We’ve absorbed those increases rather than passing them on, because keeping MJS TV affordable is important to us.

Why We Don’t Inflate Prices for the Sake of Discounts

A common tactic used by online subscription services is to raise the first-year price so they can make the second year look discounted. It’s a marketing trick, and it’s one we don’t want to use. We’d rather offer a fair and honest price right from the start instead of inflating it just to reduce it later.

About Sale Periods

During sale times you’ll see promotional offers for new subscribers. These are designed to help grow the community. A larger member base allows us to invest in new lessons, better filming equipment and larger projects like the Foundations Course, without increasing the standard price for everyone.

To our knowledge, no subscription service offers across-the-board discounts to all existing members during every sale. It simply isn’t sustainable, and it would eventually push the yearly and monthly prices up for everyone.
