There were definitely some unique challenges—painting in acrylic is a bit different. The biggest adjustment? Managing your palette and refreshing your paint more often than with oils.
That said, when it comes to technique—brushes, brush strokes, and paint loading—it’s very similar to oil painting. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a rewarding shift!
