New Lesson ' Classical Flowers' Now Available on MJS Tv
Classical Flowers is the first painting in the Alternative Style Category.
I wanted to explore a different style to my usual highly detailed photorealistic paintings. I often admire loosely painted artworks and I’ve decided to integrate this style into one of my lessons, providing a unique challenge!
Although this painting is representational in nature, depicting flowers, it isn’t intended to be photorealistic. We don’t need to worry too much about the fine details, or the accuracy of colours, and brush techniques are generally limited.
This 3 part tutorial is painted in one layer, so will be much quicker to complete. Allowing you to create a painting with as much fun & freedom as possible. I’ll guide you through to completing a classical work of art to be proud of. It's a really good lesson for building confidence in working with oil paints.
